Following the normal daily driving routine for one of our drivers, namely; Vince Coates, our client was discussing oil providers and whether there were any alternative providers out there. Vince knew of such a one and not only recommended this provider to our client but followed up the journey by forwarding details onto her.

It is our great pleasure to announce that Club Class Chauffeurs are donating a £50 Gift Voucher for use at the Mayors’ Charity Ball as a raffle prize. Club Class Chauffeurs love to help local charities where possible and we were delighted to be thought of for this very good cause! The Mayors Charity is the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

John Wilkinson used his own personal mobile telephone to track a flight that unexpectedly a client was coming in on. John found the information and waited the extra time in the airport for this additional collection. Outstanding effort John. Your clear and concise thinking on this occasion made a traveller extremely happy and grateful and we at Club Class Chauffeurs applaude your insight. Well done.

Club Class Chauffeurs are through to the FINAL in BOTH our categories namely; Customer Service and Business of the Year (more than 10 employees)!!!

The date of the Award Ceremony remains Friday 12th March 2010 and will take place at The East Sussex National.

I will keep you abreast of further developments as and when I receive them.

I have a copy of the Sussex Express, here in the office, which lists the runners-up, including us, so you can see our competition.

Club Class are in the process of purchasing a new unit just around the corner from No.1, namely No.5. The purchase should be completed any day now where we have a team of builders ready to move in and make the office space habitable. We will hopefully be in situ by mid March. Instead of renting office space, No.5 will actually be owned by Club Class.

This purchase will dramatically reduce our costs in terms of rent and rates and adds real strength to our balance sheet in the form of bricks and mortar.

We will let you know when all works are completed and would welcome the opportunity of showing you around!!

We have some very exciting news…. we have been awarded a new account - its a Shipping Company based in Farnham.

The majority of the clients journeys will be between Brize Norton and Heathrow and with Club Class Chauffeurs’ staff being licensed to drive onto the base, we can continue to not only offer our exceptional focus on the needs of our clients whilst maintaining our high level of services but also managing to quite literally, deliver our clients to their destination ‘door’.

We successfully completed our first job for the new client at the weekend.

As you know, we have entered into the 2010 Sussex Business Awards and I have just found out that we have been Shortlisted!!!

The awards ceremony has been moved to the 12th March so hopefully, sometime between now and the 12th March, we will hear whether we are successful or not.
