What a fantastic evening we at Club Class Chauffeurs had at the recent 23rd Sussex Business Awards held at The Grand Hotel, Brighton on the 1st December.

The event was very well attended with some of the county’s leading business figures including, the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex Mr Peter Field, Mayor of Brighton and Hove Councillor, Anne Meadows, John Barradell, Chief Executive of Brighton and Hove City Council and Caroline Lucas MP plus, of course, the judges.

The audience were warmed up by local Brighton comedian Stephen Grant and the awards were presented by BBC1’s The Apprentice star, Ruth Badger.

And now, how did we do:
Club Class Chauffeurs were awarded ‘Highly Commended for Best Employer in Sussex’ plus ‘Highly Commended for Best Customer Service in Sussex’. An absolutely fantastic achievement.
Plus, and Club Class are delighted to say, that Jon was awarded with the very prestigious Sussex Businessperson of the Year.

On his win, Jon said, “I am tremendously honoured to be awarded Sussex Businessperson of the Year. Thanks go to my fantastic team at Club Class Chauffeurs and also to the judges involved in the Awards scheme. It certainly is a great way to round-off the year.”

Investors in People

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

As you are all aware on Friday 28th January 2011, Club Class Chauffeurs underwent a full day’s worth of interviews at our offices with an IIP Assessor and from that date we have been eagerly awaiting the result.

We knew that the Assessor ‘has no hesitation in recommending Club Class for the Investor in People Accreditation’ however the recommendation needed to be passed infront of the Recognition Panel for their decision.

We are absolutely delighted to inform you all that Club Class Chauffeurs have been awarded the IIP and are now proudly displaying the Certificate of Recognition in our office hallway.

I wish to personally thank all those that took part in the interview process but also to everyone working with and alongside Club Class Chauffeurs. Thank you.

Recommended for Investor in People Accreditation

Friday, January 28th, 2011

After a full day today of Investor in People Assessment interviews with a large proportion of our staff, our assessor has confirmed that she “has no hesitation in recommending Club Class for the Investor in People Accreditation”

Well done and thank you to all those who were called to interview and of course everyone who helped at the company wide Team Briefing last wednesday in the team sessions.

Whilst this is not the accreditation itself, being recommended by the assessor means it is very likely!

Our assessor has to file her report within 2 weeks from today and the panel have another week to accept or decline the recommendation. I have been told on good information that it is very likely that the recommendation from the assessor leads to the award!!

My sincere thanks to you all and perhaps we can add this to the list of items to celebrate at the Team Curry Night on 8th Feb!

Best wishes
