Children in Need 2011 – Club Class cycling from Eastbourne to London Heathrow

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

It’s Children in Need on Friday 18th November and as such Club Class have decided to jump on a bike (an exercise one!) and ‘cycle’ to London Heathrow from Eastbourne; to mirror one of our journeys. We have a number of ‘volunteers’ to assist our pedalling endeavours however should any other budding cyclists (I’m calling all you chauffeurs) wish to help then please let me know.

We have begged the use of an exercise bike from the City Gym in Eastbourne and will be attempting, throughtout Wednesday 16th November, to cycle the 90 miles to London Heathrow. We have been offered free soft drinks by Waitrose, Hailsham in order to keep our thirst at bay.

The bike will be in the office and we will be videoing our endeavours which will be posted on our website for any of you who may be interested in viewing.

Sponsoring this challenge couldn’t be easier. We have set up a Just Giving webpage at www.justgiving.com/Clubclass.

If you would like to sponsor us that would be fantastic. Club Class would really appreciate your help – it’s all for Charity!

Thank you very much indeed. Wish us luck….

Auction of Promises for Eastbourne College: 7th July 2011

Monday, July 18th, 2011

Club Class Chauffeurs were very pleased to be asked recently to offer a pledge of a ‘gift’ for Eastbourne College. Eastbourne College were organising their annual Golf Day and at this event were holding an Auction of Promises in order to raise funds for bursaries.

The event took place on Thursday 7th July and we are very pleased to say that our pledge of gift, a chauffeur transfer from Eastbourne to London plus £100 spending money, raised £450 for their cause.

We are always more than happy to assist local events/charities and am pleased that our gift has made a difference.
