On Sunday one of our clients rallied a team of 20 cyclists to take on the gruelling London – Brighton Bike Ride (and on Father’s Day!).
Club Class Chauffeurs are always willing to sponsor good causes and the London – Brighton Bike Ride was in aid of the British Heart Foundation so it gives us great pleasure to sponsor them.
Thank you Steve Ellis who very kindly offered our client sponsorship out of his own pocket – our client was very moved that you thought of him and his cause.

We received, upon our Club Class website, a truly glowing report of our services and have summarised the comments as follows. Well done team, both admin, transport and of course our ‘Company Face’… the chauffeurs!
‘I have used Club Class frequently for about 10 years now, in both my past and my present employment. The Company has, in my opinion, always operated faultlessly. The cars are clean and well-maintained. The drivers are friendly and well presented. Bookings are dealt with efficiently and I receive an email confirmation within seconds of my call. Most importantly of all, I have never been let down. I have even, when traffic problems have occurred, had a call from the Company to advise leaving home a little earlier than planned!
I would absolutely recommend the services of Club Class’. Comments made by Jon, Bexhill-on-Sea.
THIS is what we are striving for and obtaining on a daily basis. For someone to take the time and effort to go on our website and write these glorious comments is fantastic. It confirms 100% that Club Class Chauffeurs continue to ‘delight’ our clients – something that is vital for us to remain ahead of the competition especially in such a competitive market.
Well done team. Keep up the good work.

Communication within a chauffeur company is absolutely paramount and hence when we receive information from our chauffeurs re road congestion it is imperative that we pass this information along the line.
This is what happened earlier in the week when one of our chauffeur’s, Steve Holter, made a call into our office.
There are ‘improvement building works’ taking place at Gatwick’s North Terminal which has proved problematic for passengers, taxis and chauffeur companies getting through in order to make the relevant drop-offs. There is, as you can imagine, quite a lot of confusion at the terminal with cars stopping all over in order to let passengers out and we therefore felt it imperative to call our clients who will be travelling to Gatwick in the near future, to collect them slightly earlier from their homes in order to give ample time in getting through the congestion.
Thank you Steve for your alertness in contacting the admin/transport team to keep us abreast of problems around the Gatwick terminal. All our chauffers are our ‘eyes and ears’ to what’s happening out there….. Keep us informed to keep our clients informed - well done all.

This blog is a ‘Can you Help’ …..
As you are all aware, Club Class Chauffeurs have won the Sussex Express Business Award for Customer Care 2010 and Sara has been tirelessly contacting the Press and various publications in order to get some public awareness of our great success, however, at present, to no avail. Does anyone have any contacts in the Press / trade magazine world that you could pass onto Sara in order that she can try down different avenues.
It is such a shame for us not to blow our own trumpet in the public domain. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you

I am very pleased to note our tremendous success in our drivers training and passing their NVQs – just fantastic. Not only does this extra qualification make Club Class Chauffers one of the forerunners in obtaining this for all their drivers but it is an extra string to your bows! Very well done all.
Here is a list of our drivers that have successfully passed the NVQ and we look forward to hearing success from those yet to train.
Well done to: David Awcock, David Tillson, John Wilkinson, Dave Parks, Steve Roberts, Kevin Francis, Steve Ellis, Alan Phypers, Kevin Bulman, Frank Aldridge, Bob Stapley, Steve Adde, Andy Donnelly, Steve Holter, Jonathan Dow and Paul Zecchin

It is always lovely to hear that our clients have had a smooth, hassle-free journey with us and hence a report back from one of our driver’s is always welcome.
John Wilkinson reported back last week that one of our corporate clients stated that they ‘couldn’t be happier with the level of service they receive from us’ and ‘it makes visiting the UK a complete delight’. From the moment our clients make the booking to us dropping them back to the airport they are completely satisfied.
Well done to all of you for performing your duties so well. It is recognised and much appreciated.

We are thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring Geoff Booker in his capacity to raise funds for The Quicken Trust. Geoff will be completing the annual “Bike Ride for Uganda” on June 25th and 26th 2010 in Hailsham with the hope of raising enough funds to provide a powerful generator that will assist in the many powercuts that Kabubbu, Uganda face. Unfortunately this area of Uganda is prone to ‘black-outs’ as there is just insufficient power generation.
The Quicken Trust aim to raise £12,000 over the 30 hour event.
If any of you wish to assist Geoff in his endeavour to raise more funds, please feel free to contact Geoff directly on geoff@quickentrust.com. Thank you

With the immense difficulty that travellers have been facing re attempting to get home, we at Club Class Chauffeurs have been doing our utmost to assist wherever possible.
Not only ‘going the extra mile’, but ‘going the extra continent’, we received a call from a regular customer of ours who was stuck in Amsterdam…. “would it be possible for Club Class to send over a driver to collect him and bring him home?”
Club Class endeavour to never say No and hence we were on the case and contacted one of our drivers, who was taking a client to Lille, to see whether, en route back to Britain, he could collect our client and return him home…. this was duly done.
Needless to say, our client was incredibly pleased that Club Class were able to come to his rescue and to safely transfer him home after a frustrating few days of trying to get back.
Thank you to all our staff who assisted in our client in returning home from overseas. Your efforts, professionalism and expertise in helping in stressful times is much appreciated.

Please note that we have now moved offices.
We are now happily based at No.5 Swan Farm Business Centre (remainder of address details are the same) and if you haven’t had the opportunity to pop down and see where we are now based, we would love to show you around.
To those who helped us move from No.1 to No.5 I wish to sincerely thank you all, as, without all your help, the transition would certainly not have been so smooth. Those who kept the wheels in motion throughout our move, my sincere thanks to you also! Your efforts, as always, are much appreciated.

What an exciting night Friday 12th March 2010 was.
Club Class Chauffeurs eagerly went along to the East Sussex National Golf Club where we were nominated for two categories; Business of the Year (over 10 employees) and Customer Service.
We were up against some very strong local competition and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening so what a lovely surprise it was to hear that Club Class Chauffeurs had won the category of Customer Service 2010.
Customer Service is so important to Club Class and to be acknowledged that we have met such a high standard is thrilling news.
I now have a gorgeous glass ‘award’ in my office that will take pride of place in our new offices as of next week.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Club Class staff / drivers who have helped us gain this tremendous accolade. Well done and thank you all.
Jon
